Fuel Economy - What do you get out of a tank? (3rd gens only)

Some people are claiming over 700km to a tank on the highway, up to 800km. That's 25% better than I can achieve when driving painfully slow and steady

You can't compare highway driving with slow and steady city driving at all. It's just not an accurate comparison.

My O2 sensor was on its way out on my TJ at 100k / 6 years. Would definitely recommend replacing it.

Accurate, just not particularly meaningful.

My O2 sensor was dead in less than 4 years, with just 75K on the clock.

Not comparing highway to city. When I go grandma for cmparisons its done primarily on highway.
Ill replace o2 sensor and observe. Is it worth going genuine or is aftermarket ok?

The driving to and from work has been mainly highway, but there is a fair bit of stop-start. I am also not really driving for Economy, because I use full power to get onto the highway.
